Chrolog bridges genealogy and everyday life. Most people have family tree data sitting in genealogy software, completely disconnected from their daily workflow. Chrolog takes GEDCOM files — the standard format for family tree data — and turns them into subscribable calendar feeds.

How It Works

Upload a GEDCOM file and Chrolog extracts birthdays, anniversaries, and other dates from your family tree. It generates a calendar feed you subscribe to once — then those events show up automatically in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any app that supports calendar subscriptions.

Technical Stack

Built as a full-stack application with Laravel and Vue. Laravel handles GEDCOM parsing, date extraction, and calendar feed generation. Vue powers the upload flow, event preview, and subscription management.
